New Airbnb launches in Boise’s West End featuring outdoor pool!

In December 2018, Glenn and Debbie Warren from Seattle bought a unique project in the west end neighborhood of Boise. Just blocks from the Whitewater Park and along the Boise River’s Greenbelt, they were excited about the possibilities of offering the two houses included in this project as short-term rentals to folks wanting to experience Idaho.

The project on Pleasanton Avenue consisted of a 100-year-old cottage, remodeled in 2014, and a shell of a bigger house adjoining off the back with a patio featuring an oversized saltwater pool, outdoor kitchen, a place for a hot tub, and a gas fire pit. They decided to furnish the front cottage to rent while finishing a 90-day remodel on the back house.

Ninety days came and went, but finally, both the Boise River Whitewater Cottage and Villa were operational. With a local team in place led by Kirsten Carlson of

Investing in Boise, they have welcomed guests from all over the country while achieving super host status on Airbnb with 5-star reviews.

Decorated in mid-modern style, both the Cottage and Villa are getting rave reviews and the local team provides customized arrival treats and a detailed welcome guide highlighting activities, restaurants, and shops. Featured inside the Cottage entryway, is their personalized oversized chalkboard where guests can leave their favorite spots to be enjoyed by future visitors.

In addition, the Cottage and Villa are launching a collaboration with Atlist Travel Service to offer add-on experiences such as massages and facials to our guests booked through our mobile-friendly web page and automated online reservations system prior to

their stay from local vendors.

Flash forward to 2020 and COVID hit! Locals have discovered that the Boise River Whitewater Villa provides that getaway from your routine and the chance to de-stress, without a plane ticket!

The Villa pool, hot tub, and all outside amenities will remain open during winter, and guests are surprised with Creekside custom marshmallows upon arrival for lazy nights by the fire pit.

And reviews like this one from a recent local girl’s weekend make it all worthwhile: “This house is an Airbnb dream and our stay was everything we could have wanted and so so so much more! If you’re looking for the perfect place to retreat and refill your cup, this is IT!”

With their plan to maintain a good neighborhood policy, their Instagram accounts post every Friday, promoting upcoming events in the area!

The Villa is also creating a climate that promotes the area in hopes that newcomers to Idaho will respect all the things that make it unique and special. The change

will indeed come to our little piece of paradise, but they are doing their part to honor the local businesses in the Boise area and be a good neighbor.
