It’s one am, you’re cuddling up with your pooch when you suddenly crave chocolate chip cookies. You are in no mood to drive through the snow. Besides, store bought cookies just aren’t the same. Just call Chip Cookies for delivery!
Chip Cookies has been in Boise since January of this year, but began in November of 2016 in Provo, Utah. A family of cookie lovers, Sarah and Sean Wilson opened their first Chip location with a mission to cure late night cravings and provide a fun unique experience.
You don’t have to go any further than their Instagram page to know Chip is special: “#chip was made for rainy days. Stay home and let us bring #chip to you… Free cookie smells for #boise until 2am.”
From Late Night Cravings to Full Service Cookie Delivery Business
While living in LA, the Wilsons realized there was a need for dessert delivery to cure those late-night munchies. Sarah, pregnant at the time, had been having cookie cravings late at night; her loving husband, Sean, found himself running around town searching for the perfect cookie that would satisfy his wife. He realized there was no market for dessert deliveries, so he came up with a business plan and they went to work perfecting their cookie recipe combining their favorite ingredients.
“We wanted to disrupt the bakery industry by always offering the best, freshest warm cookies anytime of day or night. Whenever those cravings seemed to hit,” exclaims Sean Wilson, CEO and Founder. Sarah says, “We started with a rental kitchen, just doing deliveries, and in two weeks, people were lining out the door, so we knew had to open up storefronts.” By November 2017, they had expanded to Salt Lake City, and the next January, decided Boise, Idaho would be their third location.
Sarah passionately states, “Boise is such a good fit for us…It’s a warm and friendly community that loves warm gourmet cookies as much as we do. Chip has been fully embraced by the people of Treasure Valley, which is why we now not only have a storefront in Boise, but pop-up locations in Meridian and Nampa.”
A Community Minded Cookie Company
Chip’s motto, “Delivering Happiness,” means more than just providing snacks. They believe in supporting other local companies and have done promotions with businesses like Boise Fry Company, The Stil, and Upcycle Studio. This is just further proof for how well Chip fits in to our growing metropolis.
So how does Chip work?
Chip keeps things simple: You get a box of four fresh gourmet cookies (the dough alone hand weighed to 6 oz.) for $10; plus, $2 if you want milk for dunking. Delivery fee is $2.99.
Each month, the company collaborates with local brands and influencers to create a new Chip of the Month, such as Reese’s Cup, Chocolate Malt Chip to Lucky Charms.

Chip is located at 501 W. Main Street in Boise. You can pick-up or order delivery: Monday to Thursday from 11am to 2am, Friday and Saturday 11am to 2:30am (Closed Sundays).
